Summer is getting closer, and for many of us that means one essential item quietly moves to the top of our beauty routine: sunscreen. Most people already know the usual reasons for using it. Prevention of premature wrinkles, protection from sunspots, and maintaining an even skin tone are often the first things that come to mind. But I also think it is important not to fall into the trap of becoming overly afraid of the sun or treating it like an enemy. Sunlight is a natural part of our lives, and our bodies need it more than we sometimes acknowledge. Vitamin D is a perfect example. It is vital for our overall health, supporting everything from our immunity to our mood. And while supplements can help, sunlight remains the most natural and effective source. That is why I believe people should not be terrified of being in the sun. You can absolutely spend a short amount of time outside without sunscreen. The key is understanding your skin tone and sensitivity. For lighter complexions, this safe window can be somewhere around fifteen to twenty minutes. It also helps to avoid the strongest sunlight hours between late morning and early afternoon. Speaking from my own experience, my skin tends to develop pigmentation quite easily. Because of that, I prefer to use sunscreen daily with a high level of protection, usually SPF 50. It gives me peace of mind and helps me enjoy being outdoors without worrying about long-term damage. I treat it simply as a part of my routine rather than something restrictive or complicated. I still love the sun, I still love being outside, and I try to find that balance where I can benefit from sunlight without putting my skin at unnecessary risk. The conversation about sunscreen often becomes extreme on both sides. Some people avoid the sun almost completely, while others refuse to use SPF at all. As with many things in life, the healthiest path is somewhere in the middle. Listen to your skin, learn how it reacts, and adjust your habits accordingly. Sun exposure can be both healing and harmful depending on how you treat it, so awareness is the most reliable guide. I am always curious how others approach this topic. Do you apply sunscreen every day? Do you reapply during the day, especially in summer? Or do you prefer a more intuitive approach depending on where you are and what you are doing?

Have you ever tried a proper face massage? In my opinion, it should be a natural part of every woman’s skincare routine. We often focus on cleansers, serums and moisturizers, but forget that our facial muscles also need regular attention. Just like we train our body to stay strong and youthful, the face requires the same kind of care. A few minutes a day can transform not only the quality of your skin but the way you feel in general. Face massage is not only about relaxation, although the calming effect is undeniable. It helps to release the tension that accumulates in the face throughout the day. Many of us clench the jaw, raise the eyebrows or tighten the forehead without even noticing it. With time, this constant tension begins to show on the skin. Gentle, steady movements help soften the muscles and allow the face to return to its natural, rested expression. Even one or two minutes can make a visible difference if you do it consistently. Another important benefit is improved circulation. Our face, just like any other part of the body, needs a healthy blood flow to function well. Massaging the décolleté area, neck and jawline stimulates circulation and helps deliver more oxygen to the skin. This natural process supports cell renewal, improves tone and gives the skin a healthier, more even appearance. It is one of the simplest anti-aging steps that doesn’t require any extra products, only your hands and a couple of minutes. A regular facial massage also acts as a natural lifting technique. When the skin receives enough oxygen and the muscles are kept active, the face looks firmer, brighter and more refreshed. Over time, this becomes noticeable in the overall contour and elasticity of the skin. Many women are surprised to learn how effective these simple movements are when practiced regularly. You do not need complicated techniques; gentle upward and circular motions are often enough to support the skin more than you think. Another advantage is improved absorption of skincare products. When you apply serum or moisturizer with slow and deliberate tapping motions, the skin responds better. It absorbs the product more efficiently, allowing active ingredients to work deeper. This simple step enhances the benefits of your skincare without changing anything in your routine. The combined effect of relaxation, improved blood flow and better product absorption makes face massage a powerful yet underestimated tool. With just a few sessions a week, the skin becomes smoother, more toned and visibly refreshed. It is a small investment of time that brings clear long-term benefits. Now I am curious about your habits. Do you prefer face massage with your hands, or do you enjoy using special tools?

Standing in front of the mirror, we all notice days when our skin looks different, especially when pores appear larger or more pronounced. In most cases, enlarged pores are not actually growing in size but are being stretched over time. This happens when they remain filled with dead skin cells, excess sebum, makeup residue, pollution particles, or anything else that accumulates on the skin throughout the day. When pores stay clogged, they lose their refined shape and begin to appear wider and deeper. The most essential step toward minimizing the appearance of pores is exfoliation. Both physical and chemical exfoliants can work well if used correctly and consistently. They help remove dead skin cells, clear away buildup, and smooth the skin’s texture, creating a more refined and even surface. Regular exfoliation prevents pores from becoming congested, which means they remain cleaner and naturally look smaller. Adding a tonic or toner rich in skin-supporting ingredients is also beneficial, as it helps balance the skin and prepare it for further care. Another important aspect is targeted treatment. When certain areas of the face are chronically irritated or repeatedly clogged, pores in those zones can easily turn into breakouts. After breakouts heal, their marks or texture changes can make pores appear even more noticeable. Gentle, consistent care helps break this cycle and keeps the skin from reacting in a way that enlarges the pores further. One of the simplest yet most crucial habits is daily sunscreen use. Sun exposure weakens the skin’s structure, reduces elasticity, and can make pores look bigger over time. A good sunscreen protects the skin from these changes, but it must be chosen carefully. Heavy or comedogenic formulas can clog pores, so selecting a lightweight, non-comedogenic option is key. If you already have your own strategies or favorite products that help keep your skin smooth and your pores less visible, feel free to share them. Exchanging real experiences always helps others find what might work best for them.

Recently I came across a few direct messages that honestly made me feel a little sad. Some of them suggested that I focus too much on my body and the way it looks, as if this attention comes from a place of pressure or self-obsession. But the truth is much simpler. Part of my online space naturally revolves around wellness, workouts, recovery, and confidence, because these are the topics you ask me about the most. I share my routine, my progress, and my thoughts not to create an illusion of perfection, but to show that caring for your body can be a healthy and fulfilling part of life. For me, loving your body means appreciating it in all its forms, including its changes, imperfections, and phases. It means building a relationship with yourself where you can grow, adjust, and improve without judgment. My message has never been “look at my perfect body.” It has always been about accepting yourself fully and celebrating even the smallest steps you take toward self-respect and self-love. Many of the flaws we see are only visible to us because we overthink them. I want you to feel confident in your own skin and proud of the efforts you make, no matter how small they may seem. When it comes to content, I genuinely want this space to feel meaningful and relevant to you. That is why I believe the most honest approach is simply to ask what you truly want to see here. Maybe you prefer content related to workouts, nutrition, and body awareness. Maybe you are more interested in motherhood, postpartum experiences, and daily life with a baby. Perhaps fashion, beauty, routines, or even lighthearted videos bring you the most joy. I want to understand what inspires you and what supports you in your own journey. Ladies, tell me what you are most curious about and what topics you want me to focus on. This space has always been shaped by your interest, and I want to keep it that way.

Skincare has become such a familiar part of our routine that we sometimes move through it automatically, forgetting that even small habits can influence the way our skin looks and ages. We invest in new products, trust popular recommendations, experiment with procedures, and hope for visible results. Yet the truth is that healthy skin often depends not on what we add, but on what we unconsciously do wrong. One of the most common and damaging mistakes is going to bed without cleansing the skin properly. Throughout the day, makeup, pollution, sweat, and oil accumulate on the surface. When this buildup is left untouched overnight, pores clog, inflammation develops, and the skin gradually loses its natural radiance. With so many gentle multi-step cleansing options available today, this step is truly one of the easiest to turn into a consistent habit. Another frequent mistake is using the same set of products as a friend or influencer. Even if a routine works perfectly for someone else, your skin may react very differently. Every skin type has its own characteristics, sensitivities, and changing needs, which means a “universal” routine simply does not exist. A proper consultation and an individually selected regimen always bring better and safer results. A surprisingly neglected area is the neck, décolleté, and hands. These zones often show signs of aging faster than the face, yet they rarely receive the same level of attention. Integrating them into your daily routine takes only a few extra seconds but makes a noticeable difference over time. And, of course, there is the bad habit many of us silently share: popping pimples or blackheads on our own. Even when we know it leads to irritation and scarring, we still occasionally act like amateur cosmeticians. A reminder to trust professionals is sometimes necessary. These small skincare “sins” are common, and none of us are perfect. The key is noticing them, correcting them, and choosing habits that support your skin rather than work against it. If you feel this topic is familiar to you, you can find more insights and tips in the new article on my blog.

During pregnancy many of you asked me what products I used to support my skin and whether something really helped me prevent stretch marks. I didn’t want to share anything too early, because I wanted to see the results on my own body first. Now, after completing my pregnancy journey and observing how my skin reacted, I finally feel ready to talk about it openly and honestly. I was fortunate not to get any new stretch marks during pregnancy. I already had a few on my hips before, so of course I worried that pregnancy would bring more. To this day I can’t say with absolute certainty what exactly made the difference. Maybe it was genetics, as many people tend to believe, or maybe it was consistent care and the products I chose. Most likely, it was a combination of both. But I want to share my routine with you anyway, because even if genetics plays a role, supporting your skin never hurts. The main product I relied on was Body Treatment Oil. Throughout the nine months I finished two full bottles. I applied it twice a day — in the morning after a shower and in the evening before bed. I massaged it gently into my belly, breasts, and hips, trying to give myself a few minutes of calmness and connection with my body. The oil left my skin soft, nourished, and more elastic, which I believe played an important role. In addition to the oil, I regularly used the C+C Vitamin Body Cream. I loved the texture and the brightening effect it gave to my skin. From time to time, especially when I felt dryness or dullness, I added the Anti-Age Talasso-Scrub to exfoliate gently and stimulate blood circulation. Exfoliation helped my skin absorb other products better and kept it smooth and renewed. And one more product that has been with me for several years now is the Xemose Cerat Relipidant Anti-Irritations. I used it daily as a basic body cream, especially on days when my skin felt sensitive or dry. It helped maintain consistent hydration, which is extremely important during pregnancy when the skin is stretching rapidly and needs extra support. I’m sharing this routine not as a magical formula, but simply as what worked for me. Every woman’s body is unique, and each pregnancy is different. Still, caring for your skin consistently, choosing high-quality products, and listening to what your body needs can make a huge difference. If you have your own favorite products that helped you during pregnancy, feel free to share them. Other women might find your experience helpful too.

If you have started noticing dark spots or uneven patches on your skin, there is no reason to panic. What you are seeing is pigmentation, a very common condition that can appear for many reasons and almost always improves with the right care. I will not go into the full scientific classification of pigmentation, because the topic is extremely broad and varies from person to person. What you should know is that pigmentation occurs when your skin either produces more pigment-producing cells or increases the amount of melanin they create. This process is natural, but external factors can intensify it. The most important message I want you to take from this is simple: there are key steps you can follow to prevent pigmentation from forming and to stop existing spots from getting darker. The foundation of all prevention is daily sunscreen. Not occasionally, not only during summer, but every single day. Your sunscreen should have an SPF of at least 30, and it should be applied generously and renewed throughout the day if you spend time outdoors. Sun exposure remains the strongest trigger, so protection must become a habit. Try to avoid direct sunlight when it is at its highest intensity, typically between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. If you need to be outside during these hours, seek shade and wear wide-brimmed hats or tightly woven clothing that physically block ultraviolet radiation. These simple actions significantly reduce the risk of new pigmentation and help protect the progress you are making in treatment. It is crucial to remember that successful treatment of pigmentation depends entirely on consistent sun avoidance. Even a few minutes of sun exposure without protection can undo days, weeks or even months of careful skincare. Many people underestimate this part, but treating pigmentation is not only about products — it is about discipline and daily habits. If you are considering any professional procedures aimed at removing pigmentation, it is better to schedule them during autumn or winter. Cooler seasons offer lower UV intensity, making your skin less reactive and safer during the healing process. Doing such treatments during summer or in strong sun can not only slow your progress but also make the pigmentation return even stronger. Have you ever experienced pigmentation or struggled with uneven skin tone?

A warm bubble bath has always been one of the simplest and most pleasant forms of relaxation. It allows you to slow down, clear your mind and let your body release the tension it has been carrying throughout the day. During pregnancy this small ritual becomes even more valuable, yet many women still worry whether they are allowed to enjoy it. There is a widespread belief that pregnant women must avoid baths altogether, as if this gentle form of self-care could somehow be harmful. In reality, a bath can be not only safe but truly beneficial when approached correctly. The only important detail to keep in mind is the water temperature. It should always remain warm rather than hot, ideally around 37°C or slightly below. This ensures comfort without causing your body temperature to rise too much. Extremely hot water is what should be avoided, because overheating can put unnecessary stress on the body. But a warm bath, when taken mindfully, supports circulation, soothes muscles and helps relieve the constant pressure that pregnancy brings. Another reason a bath becomes such a powerful tool during this period is the emotional effect it creates. The warm water helps you switch off the outer noise and connect with yourself, which is something many pregnant women forget to do in the process of preparing for the baby. This quiet moment is a chance to let both your mind and your body rest. Even ten or fifteen minutes can noticeably improve your overall well-being. Adding small calming rituals can make the experience even better. Soft lighting, gentle scents or relaxing music can easily turn a simple bath into a peaceful evening routine. For some women it becomes the only moment of the day when they feel completely rested, supported by the warm water and the feeling of weightlessness. So yes, pregnant women not only can take baths but should consider them an easy and effective way to relax. As long as the temperature stays within a safe range, this little ritual can bring both physical relief and emotional comfort. It is one of the simplest ways to take care of yourself while your body is working so hard every single day.

Self-care basics for every woman

I often think that self-care is something we should be taught long before adulthood. Ideally, it would come from our parents, or even be included as part of school education. Imagine how many mistakes, frustrations, and wasted years we could avoid if every girl learned the basic principles of nutrition, skincare, and body awareness early in life. Instead, most of us grow up with the mindset of “you won’t know until you try it on yourself,” and this trial-and-error approach often costs us both time and confidence. The earlier we understand how our bodies work, the more effectively we can preserve our youth, health, and inner harmony. For me, self-care has always started in the mind. Before creating any routine, it’s important to understand your real motivations. Ask yourself why you want to look good, feel good, or change something in your life. When your intentions are clear, the steps you take become more conscious and much more effective. Without this internal clarity, even the best routines lose their meaning. One of the most essential pillars of self-care is, of course, healthy nutrition combined with regular physical activity. These two factors work together, and neither can fully replace the other. They influence not only our appearance but also our energy levels, sleep quality, emotional stability, and overall well-being. A consistent, balanced approach in both areas is the strongest investment you can make in yourself. When it comes to beauty, we often focus on the face and forget how quickly the neck and hands reveal our age. These areas require just as much attention as the skin on our face. Systematic and thoughtful care from an early age makes an enormous difference over time. Starting sooner means giving your skin a stronger foundation for the future. Sun protection is another non-negotiable point. The sun may feel warm and harmless, but its effects accumulate silently. Sun exposure leads to premature aging, uneven skin tone, deeper wrinkles, and even serious skin damage. That’s why sunscreen is essential throughout the entire year, regardless of whether it’s cloudy, windy, snowy, or the sun seems to hide. Consistency is what protects your skin long-term. And finally, even if you feel perfectly fine, regular health check-ups remain an important form of self-respect. Preventive care saves time, energy, and emotional peace. It allows you to stay in control of your health instead of reacting to problems when they already appear. Now I’m curious to hear from you. What are your key self-care principles?

Many of us eventually face various skin concerns such as breakouts, dark spots, dryness or signs of fatigue that slowly build up over time. No matter how carefully we treat our skin, modern life exposes it to stress, environmental aggressors and sun damage. But there is one ingredient that consistently proves its effectiveness and remains a cornerstone of a well-balanced skincare routine. This ingredient is vitamin C, a truly powerful component that can visibly transform the skin when used correctly. Vitamin C is known as one of the most researched antioxidants in skincare. Its main role is to neutralize free radicals that appear due to sun exposure, pollution and other environmental factors. These free radicals accelerate skin aging and gradually weaken the structure of the skin. By reducing their impact, vitamin C gives the skin a chance to repair itself. This is why it is often referred to as one of the strongest anti-aging ingredients available today. One of its most noticeable benefits is its ability to brighten the complexion. Vitamin C helps reduce pigmentation by slowing down excessive melanin production, resulting in a more even skin tone and a smoother surface. With regular use, it helps fade dark spots and restore the natural radiance that many of us lose due to stress or lack of sleep. Another key advantage of vitamin C is its ability to boost collagen production. Collagen is responsible for firmness, elasticity and overall skin quality, but our natural levels decrease with age. Supporting collagen synthesis helps the skin stay firm and prevents early sagging. Another important point is that vitamin C is suitable for most skin types. It comes in different forms and concentrations, allowing everyone to find a version that fits their needs. Some formulas are designed for sensitive skin, others for intense brightening or deep repair. Understanding what form of vitamin C you are using and what you want to target helps you achieve the best results. However, there is one rule that is essential to remember: vitamin C is a daytime ingredient. It delivers its full protective effect during daylight hours, helping the skin defend itself against the environment and the sun. When used consistently and correctly, it becomes a powerful tool for maintaining healthy, glowing and youthful-looking skin. If you want to dive deeper into how vitamin C actually works and how to choose the right formula, I share all the details in the full article. I will leave the link in Stories, so don’t forget to check it out.
