What if you’re stuck in your comfort zone?

Sometimes we come across the things that we don’t really want to do – we need to get out of our comfort zone. And it’s ok. But being stuck in it is not really beneficial because it prevents us from learning something new, experiencing something new, going forward, doing mistakes, etc. We have to understand that life is very dynamic and nothing stays the same for a long time. That’s why we need to expand our comfort zone and learn how to calmly react and accept changes life can bring to us. So here are some tips for training yourself when you feel stuck and out of place:

▪️Accept that changes are okay and essential. Remind yourself that you only live once and your life isn’t just about comfortably laying on the sofa. Life is a challenge, so try to do as many as possible and live to the fullest.

▪️Feeling bored? Nothing excites or challenges you? Don’t be upset because it’s a perfect time to take risks and create some new goals, to increase the level of your engagement with life. Treat life as a game! Set challenges, try something you’ve never done before – you’re the one who decides and rules your life – take every chance possibility.

▪️If you’re scared of the unknown, try to realize that it’s absolutely okay not to know something – you just can’t always know what awaits you. You can only suppose something, which shouldn’t stop you from taking actions. So just start with making small steps and decisions, take those actions to stand in the unknown and then give permission for time itself to help you figure out what’s next.

In fact, getting out of the comfort zone is the only way you’ll learn, especially if you can accept that missteps are just unpreventable and actually essential part of the learning process. So take those actions, be brave and take the maximum from your life.

Don’t destroy your comfort zone but expand it instead. Balance it!
