Spring is the best time to clear your mind and… refresh your wardrobe! And today I want to share with you some tips that help me keep my wardrobe/
First of all, you need to understand that there is no rush and you won’t clean your wardrobe (if you want to do it properly) in three hours. It may take a day or a weekend and it’s ok.

Try not to do a mess out of a mess. Before cleaning, prepare large bags where you can put unwanted items so that it would be comfortable for you to transport them – to a relative’s house or a recycling service.

Decide whether you really need this or that piece of clothes. For example, you have an orange turtleneck that you hadn’t worn for many months and you’re unlikely to wear it in the future. So you still think that you need it? Or if you doubt you may always ask another opinion from your friend.
If you decided to purge your wardrobe carefully, don’t forget about sportswear, nightwear and lingerie as well as any new items with tag still attached that gather dust on your shelves.

After all cleaning is done, care for conditions of keeping your clothes. Buy wooden hangers (forget about wire ones) and add some storage if you need.
If you dress seasonally, try to keep your clothes wisely so that you won’t need to seek through your tees and shorts to find your warm jumpers. Use such options like under-bed storage options or vacuum packing.

Try to follow ‘one-in-one-out’ policy. Think hard about which items really deserve a spot in your wardrobe that is already newly organized and tidy. Just perfect.
One more rule that really works is to divide your wardrobe into two parts and hang all your clothes on the one side, for example, on the left. After you use some item, hang it on the right. Try to do it with every item you wear during half a year. All the clothes, that is left on the left, is not needed. So simple, right?
