Your journey, your pace
Getting back into my physical shape after pregnancy was not an easy process, but it happened faster than I thought it would. I truly believe that the main reason for this was the lifestyle I had built long before pregnancy. Consistent workouts, balanced meals and a stable routine became such a natural part of my life that even the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy didn’t force me to start from zero afterward. Instead, I had a strong foundation that supported me throughout the entire journey.
During pregnancy, I didn’t push myself to extremes, and I didn’t try to prove anything. I simply continued some of the activities that felt comfortable and safe for me, especially long walks and gentle movement. I also kept following my healthy eating habits because they made me feel good and gave my body the energy and nutrients it needed. These small, steady habits helped me stay active while respecting the limits of my body, which was going through a major transformation.
This is why I always emphasize how important it is to make sports and nutrition not just a temporary goal but a lifestyle. A routine built over time is much easier to maintain even during more challenging periods of life, including pregnancy and postpartum. When healthy choices are part of who you are, you don’t need to force yourself into drastic changes later — you simply continue taking care of yourself with more awareness.
To all Ladies who are pregnant now or recently had a baby, I want to say something important: we are all very different. Our bodies, our energy levels, our recovery speed and even our emotional reactions vary so much from one person to another. Please do not compare your postpartum journey to anyone else’s, including mine. I never share my experience to make someone feel less or to create unrealistic expectations. My intention is to show that long-term habits really matter and that taking care of yourself before, during and after pregnancy is an act of self-respect.
My message is simple and honest: move your body, stay active in the ways that feel right for you, eat well, be consistent and make these habits part of your lifestyle. When you do this, the results will come naturally and bring benefits not only to your physical shape but also to your overall well-being.
